Lecture topics focus on describing the developmental needs of the adolescent and the components of an adolescent program, including the prepared environment, the role of the adult, and the plan of work and study. Through readings, discussions, and targeted assignments, participants will complete the course with a solid introduction to the Montessori philosophy as well as practical guidance for working with adolescents (12-18).
