Master’s Degrees

Completing an AMI diploma at the Montessori Institute of North Texas can also qualify you for graduate credit toward a master’s degree at select universities.

Since 2004 MINT has collaborated with The Institute of Educational Studies (TIES). TIES grants credit for the AMI 0-3, 3-6 and 6-12 diploma training towards the M.Ed. in Montessori Integrative Learning.

MINT diploma graduates can apply their MACTE credential to earn up to 15 graduate credits towards Loyola’s M.Ed. in Montessori Education program.


Southern Methodist University | Simmons School of Education and Human Development

Students enrolled in a Master of Education (M.Ed.) program at SMU Simmons College can submit their MINT diploma to receive up to 18 hours of transfer credit, applicable to Montessori courses at the 6000-level. These credits may be combined with additional graduate specializations— including Bilingual Education, Urban EducationEnglish as a Second Language, Gifted and Talented, Mathematics Education, STEM Education, Early Literacy (PK–2nd Grade), or Late Literacy (Grades 3–9).
