Helen Mohan Elias holds the AMI Primary and Elementary diplomas from Montessori Training and Research Trust (MTRT) Hyderabad, India. A participant in the AMI’s Asian Seminar Format for trainers-in-training, she helped organize the Fifth Assembly of Educateurs sans Frontiers (EsF) in Hyderabad in 2016 and supported EsF Assemblies in South Africa and Mexico. Helen collaborated with AMI Primary Trainer Uma Ramani in developing CoRE (Community Rooted Education), an outreach program that has trained government childcare workers in Andrha Pradesh state and has been implemented in the state-run Minority Residential Schools in Telangana state. She continues to work with parents and teachers to introduce Montessori principles into missionary and government schools in India.
