Job Description: A young, entrepreneurial family with several businesses and philanthropic interests seeks a Montessori Toddler Guide to support their youngest child in a homeschool environment and home space. The family’s operation relocates regularly, and this position will require flexibility to travel approximately 60-80% of the year. The ideal candidate for the position will hold an AMI diploma at the 0-3 level. The candidate must have at least two years of classroom experience, preferably at an AMI-accredited school. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. The desired start date is as soon as possible.
Position Details:
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Ages of children: 0-3, up to 5 students per classroom
Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the perfect fit
Schedule: Full-time, projecting 40-45 hours per week, with the general schedule falling from 8 am to 11 am Monday through Thursday.
Compensation: The family is offering $50-60/hour, which, based on the 40-45 hour/week schedule, equates to a projected annualized base compensation range of $120-143K/year, dependent on experience and weekly overtime accrual. The family may be open to candidates seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.

Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The family may offer a landing pad for relocation candidates, and private accommodations at the family’s properties (or nearby) will be provided while traveling.

Qualifications:
3 years of professional childcare experience
At least two years of classroom experience working with children in a state-licensed program
Experience working with infants and toddlers
Valid driver’s license and passport
AMI 0-3 diploma, preferably in conjunction with a Masters of Education; AMS applicants may be considered
Flexibility to travel domestically or internationally is required
Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to the start date in accordance with applicable laws
