Job Description: We are a family seeking a dedicated Montessori Elementary Teacher to facilitate an in-home educational program for our child. Our family values a personalized and holistic approach to education, and we are committed to providing our child with an enriching learning environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Requirements:
Montessori Elementary Teaching Credential (AMI or AMS certification preferred).
Designing and implementing a personalized Montessori curriculum tailored to the specific needs and interests of our child.
Providing individualized instruction in language, mathematics, science, cultural studies, and practical life skills.
Creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment that promotes independence, critical thinking, and creativity.
Observing and assessing our child’s progress, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
Incorporating hands-on materials and real-life experiences to enhance learning opportunities.
Collaborating with parents to establish educational goals and communicate progress.
Flexibility to adjust the schedule and curriculum as needed to accommodate our child’s interests and learning pace.
