Job Title: Toddler Assistant

Job Description: Alcuin School was established in 1964 and is nestled on a 12-acre wooded campus in north Dallas. We serve children 18 months to 18 years through Montessori and International Baccalaureate curricula. We are seeking a qualified individual to join a large, dynamic team as an Assistant in a toddler classroom.
The Toddler Assistant supports the Lead Guide in creating a nurturing, prepared Montessori environment that fosters independence and development in children ages 18 months to 3 years. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the classroom, working collaboratively with the Guide to support the optimal growth and development of the children, and ensuring a safe, respectful atmosphere for all. Ideal candidates are patient, observant, passionate about early childhood education, and experienced in working with young children.

Requirements: ~ High school diploma or higher
~ Experience working with children ages 0-3, preferably Montessori experience
~ Team player with good communication skills
~ High level of integrity and dependability
~ CPR/First Aid certification
~ Basic computer literacy skills
~ Preferred: Spanish-speaking
