Job Title: Lead Elementary Guide

Job Description: South Coast Montessori, located in Santa Barbara, California, is hiring a Montessori trained guide for our Elementary classroom for the 2025-26 school year. 
For the 2025-26 school year, you will have the opportunity to train under and assist our current Elementary Guide (who has 40+ years of experience) while being mentored in the classroom. This exciting role is ideal for a recent graduate of an AMI Elementary course or an experienced guide looking to transition smoothly into a new community and school.

Requirements: ● AMI or AMS Diploma (or in progress)
● Knowledge, interest and a passion for the Montessori method as it applies to children 6-12 years old 
● Commitment to working with a team always striving to model professionalism and collaboration in service of the school’s mission and children 
● Experience with fostering and maintaining supportive and professional relationships with enthusiastic and interested parents
