Job Description: 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Primary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where Primary aged children can develop their full potential through the Montessori method. The primary teacher will guide students in their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, fostering independence, creativity, and a love for learning.

Responsibilities:
• Implement the Montessori philosophy and curriculum effectively to meet the developmental needs of children aged 3-6.
• Create and maintain a prepared environment that is orderly, inviting, and conducive to learning, incorporating Montessori materials and activities while adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Plan and facilitate engaging lessons and activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
• Guide children in developing practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language acquisition, mathematical understanding, cultural awareness, and scientific inquiry.
• Observe and assess individual student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents/guardians regularly.
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture that values each child's unique abilities, interests, and backgrounds.
• Encourage independence, self-discipline, and responsibility in children, fostering a sense of ownership over their learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and administrators to support the holistic development of each child.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to deepen understanding of Montessori principles and best practices.

Requirements: 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, or a related field (Montessori certification preferred). 
• Previous experience working as a Montessori Primary Teacher with children aged 3-6.
• In-depth knowledge of Montessori philosophy, principles, and materials.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Clear background check and/or willingness to undergo background screening.
