Mary Caroline Parker, J.D., M.Ed., Development Consultant

Mary Caroline holds the AMI Primary Diploma, a B.A. from Smith College, a J.D. from Washington College of Law at American University, and an M.Ed. in Montessori Integrative Learning from Endicott College. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of AMI, where she served in the Humanitarian and Child Advocacy position, and on the Educateurs sans Frontières (EsF) Organizing Committee for International Assemblies in Dallas, Thailand, India, South Africa, and Mexico. She currently serves on the board of Lumin Education, which operates Montessori programs in two low-income Dallas neighborhoods. Mary Caroline is a former head of school at Lumin East Dallas Community School and The Barbara Gordon Montessori School (now Waypoint Montessori). She was a member of MINT’s Board of Directors from 2004 to 2014, and Executive Director of MINT from 2014 to 2022. She is currently MINT’s Director of Development.
