Overview
Join Montessorian and psychologist Dr. Paige Krabill for a 1.5-day workshop to explore the "Power of Possibility," a Montessori-Based Support Model designed to reimagine inclusion and meet the diverse needs of all children. Participants will reflect on the current meaning of "inclusion," challenge traditional models and practices, and discover alternative, strength-based strategies to create supportive learning communities for all children, regardless of ability, difference, or circumstance.
Through engaging discussions and activities, attendees will be encouraged to consider the benefits of Montessori education for all children and embrace Montessori principles to create inclusive environments. By focusing on the concepts of the prepared environment and the prepared adult, participants will evolve their understanding of how Montessori's approach distinguishes itself as a powerful tool for inclusion.
Impact
Participants will be empowered to rethink inclusion through the Montessori lens and gain practical strategies and techniques to support all children.
