Sara holds a Liberal Arts degree in English from the University of Indiana and a Masters in Education from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. She earned her AMI Primary Diploma from The Montessori Training Center of Minnesota under the direction of Molly O’Shaughness, and her AMI Elementary Diploma from the Maria Montessori Institute in London. Sara began her Montessori journey as a child in a Montessori environment with her mom being the lead guide. She is grateful that her own children have had the opportunity to attend Waypoint Montessori where she currently leads a primary environment. 

Sara first joined MINT as a mentor on the first Primary Blended Course in 2019. She realized, in addition to being passionate about guiding children in their journey, that she also loves working with adults who are training to teach as well. Sara is an AMI 3-6 Trainer-in-Training. She lives with her husband and three children in Colleyville, Texas.
