Job Title: Lead Elementary Guide

Job Description: South Coast Montessori, located in Santa Barbara, California, has an immediate need for a full-time Montessori trained guide for our Elementary classroom. We are looking for a substitute to finish the current school year (January to May 2025) and/or a candidate to assume the role permanently.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000 annually depends on experience and qualifications

Generous relocation package available, including housing for the 2024-25 school year.
This is an exempt, full-time school year teaching position with summers off

Requirements: ● AMI or AMS Diploma (or in progress). 
● Knowledge, interest and a passion for the Montessori method as it applies to children 6-12 years old 
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including digital communication skills 
● Commitment to working on a team of teachers and administrators always striving to model professionalism and collaboration in service of the school’s mission and children 
● Experience with fostering and maintaining supportive and professional relationships with enthusiastic and interested parents
