Toddler Guide | Montessori School on Camp Bowie | Forth Worth, TX

Job Description: We are looking for a toddler lead teacher to work with our children 18 - 36 months. Our school is located in an old house that was rennovated and turned into a Montessori school over 40 years ago. We are in the museum district close to downtown Fort Worth. We have beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces for the children to work. Our Toddler Montessori Guide will be responsible for supervising, guiding and caring for a group of up to 6 children (12 with an assistant). Our day starts at 8:15 a.m. Children arrive by 9:00 and stay until 11:15 or 1:45 p.m. We have a group time, work period (indoor or out depending on the weather), shared snack time, outdoor playtime and early dismissal at 11:15. The remaining children then have music and movement. They work on Spanish, sign language, art and dance. We have lunch and another work period. Children leave by 1:45 or go to our aftercare program for a nap.

Requirements: We are looking for a Montessori certified toddler teacher. You will have the opportunity to work in the supervision of our lead teacher who has been at this school for 35 years. She was trained overseas by a guide who studied with Maria Montessori herself.
