STEAMspark is seeking a visionary, driven, and experienced Associate Head of School to help lead our rapidly growing Talented and Gifted Elementary Program. This program serves exceptionally gifted students who score in the 80th percentile or higher on nationally normed assessments and thrive in an authentic Montessori and academically rigorous, STEAM-integrated environment. As Associate Head of School, you will work closely with the Head of School to lead academic operations, mentor faculty, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence. This role is ideal for a growth-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and who is excited to shape the future of education.

Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Vision & Leadership
- Champion innovation in Montessori and gifted education through creative program design and dynamic instructional practices.
- Inspire and support teachers through regular classroom observations, coaching, and targeted professional development.
- Lead curriculum enhancements that integrate STEAM, real-world learning, and interdisciplinary projects.
- Promote a culture of excellence, creativity, and high expectations.

Strategic Operations & School Growth
- Serve as a thought partner to the Head of School in long-term planning, innovation, and school improvement initiatives.
- Manage and refine systems for scheduling, staffing, and daily operations that reflect agility and responsiveness.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion and community partnerships.

Student Success & Family Partnership
- Champion personalized learning pathways that meet the needs of gifted students and support the whole child.
- Partner with families through proactive communication, transparency, and collaboration.
- Monitor and respond to academic, social-emotional, and behavioral data to ensure student growth and well-being.

Culture, Leadership, & Collaboration
- Embody and model the mission, values, and vision of STEAMspark at all times.
- Build a positive, inclusive, and forward-thinking campus culture that motivates staff and inspires students.
- Embrace and implement feedback, and foster a high-performance environment rooted in trust and accountability.

Required Qualifications (What We’re Looking For):
- Master’s degree in education or a related field
- 3+ years of school leadership experience, preferably in a private or independent school setting
- A strong record of instructional leadership, team management, and driving innovation
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Growth mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep sense of personal ownership

Preferred Qualifications:
- Montessori training or experience
- Experience working with gifted learners or academically accelerated programs
- Experience in a high-performing, creative school environment

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 annually, based on experience and Montessori training
